Established in June 2025, the BIOtech Caucus is a bipartisan forum for Members of Congress focused on strengthening U.S. leadership in biotechnology. The Caucus advances bipartisan policy solutions by engaging with sector leaders, building bioliteracy among Members, and exploring legislation that bolsters the domestic bioeconomy, with emphasis on biosecurity, innovation, and nationwide economic opportunity.
The Coalition to Advance Biotechnology works to engage coordination with BIOtech Caucus, bringing together cross-sector organizations, societies, and associations to help shape discussions around biotechnology’s role in health, agriculture, manufacturing, security, and the broader U.S. economy.
